Sille is a village located 8 km northwest of Konya city center with a population of 4,000. Its history dates back to the Neolithic era and witnessed periods of Roman, Byzantine, Seljuk, and Ottoman rule. In the late 1900s, Sille was a bustling town with a population of around 18,000, half of whom were non-Muslims, mainly Greeks and Ottomans.

시레는 콘야 시내 중심부에서 북서쪽 8km에 위치한 인구 4,000명의 마을입니다. 그 역사는 신석기 시대까지 거슬러 올라가 로마, 비잔틴, 셀주크, 오스만 제국의 통치 시대를 목격했습니다. 1900년대 후반, 시레는 인구 약 18,000명의 활기찬 마을이었고, 그 절반은 비이슬람교도, 주로 그리스인과 오스만 제국인이었습니다.
