Ginza Takagi Building

Ginza Wooden Box - Ginza Takagi Building / Tetsuo Yamaji Architects

We designed a 12-story commercial complex on Ginza Sotobori Dori Street in Tokyo. The top four floors are wood-framed, giving the steel-framed structure the appearance of a wooden box atop an office building. The lower and upper floors are commercial, while the middle floors house offices and tenants. The basement is reinforced concrete, the first eight floors are steel-framed, and the upper four floors are wooden. Cedarwood from Tama, Tokyo, was used for the exterior and interior finishes.


도쿄·긴자 외호리 거리에 면한 12층짜리 상업 시설을 설계했습니다. 최상층 4층은 목조로, 철골조에 오피스 빌딩 위에 나무 상자를 실은 것 같은 외관입니다. 하층과 상층은 상업 시설, 중층은 사무실과 테넌트가 들어 있습니다. 지하는 철근 콘크리트, 상층 8층은 철골조, 상층 4층은 목조입니다. 외장과 내장에는 다마산의 삼나무재를 사용했습니다.
