Yarn Residence / REACT ARCHITECTS

 Yarn is located in the settlement of Agkairia on Paros. It has a southwestern orientation to maximize light and protect against the strong northern winds characteristic of the Cycladic island. The plot allowed for the development of this residence with open floor plans, following a jagged line that embraces the volumes of the house, creating sheltered courtyards, outdoor spaces, visual boundaries, and sheltered outdoor seating areas. By incorporating elements of Cycladic architecture found in similar buildings, we designed a house that harmoniously integrates with the landscape, adhering to the principles of bioclimatic architecture aimed at minimizing the building's environmental footprint and creating protected spaces from the strong winds and heat of the summer months.

털실은 팔로스 아카이리아 마을에 있습니다. 남서쪽이므로 빛을 최대한으로 도입하여 키클라데스 제도 특유의 강한 북풍으로부터 보호할 수 있습니다. 부지는 집의 볼륨을 감싸는 들쭉날쭉한 라인을 따라 오픈 플로어 플랜 주택의 개발을 가능하게하고, 보호 된 안뜰, 야외 공간, 시각적 경계, 보호 된 야외 좌석 영역을 만들었습니다. 비슷한 건물에서 볼 수 있는 키클라데스 건축의 요소를 도입하여 경관과 조화를 이루고 일체화하는 주택을 설계했습니다. 이는 건물의 환경 풋프린트를 최소화하고 여름의 강풍과 더위로부터 보호된 공간을 만드는 것을 목표로 하는 생명체적 건축 원칙을 준수합니다.
