Bases triangular toilet block in Tokyo/  Nao Tamura



New York-based Japanese designer Nao Tamura has squeezed a red public toilet block onto a triangular plot in Tokyo's downtown Shibuya district as part of the Tokyo Toilet project.

The triangular structure was built for the project, which is run by the non-profit Nippon Foundation and will see bathroom facilities built by leading Japanese architects including Pritzer Prize winners Toyo Ito, Shigeru Ban, Tadao Ando, Fumihiko Maki.


젝트의 일환으로 도쿄의 번화가 시부야 지구에 있는 삼각형 부지에 빨간 공중 화장실 블록을 밀어넣었다.

이 삼각형 구조물은 비영리 일본재단이 운영하는 이 프로젝트를 위해 건설되었으며, 플리처상 수상자인 이토 토요오 씨, 사카모 씨, 안도 타다오 씨, 마키분히코 씨를 포함한 일본을 대표하는 건축 집에 의해 건설된 욕실 시설을 볼 수 있게 된다.
