Vertbois Building / Moussafir Architectes + Inside Outside Architecture

This 10-level commercial building designed in the 1970s by the Biro Fernier firm is a rare example in this sector of France’s 30-year post-war economic boom. It is comprised of a 7-story reinforced concrete framework on top of a 3-level underground car park built with prestressed concrete technology - innovative for the period - an inverted vault supporting a suspended garden in the heart of the city block and a Mansard roof profile with 6 lucarnes crowning the building, the entire structure is made of shuttered concrete.




빌로 페르니에 회사에 의해 1970년대에 설계된 이 10층짜리 상업 빌딩은 프랑스 전후 30년간의 호경기의 이 분야에서는 드문 예입니다. 이 건물은 당시에는 혁신적인 프리스트레스트 콘크리트 기술로 건설된 3층 지하 주차장 위에 7층 철근 콘크리트의 틀이 있어, 시가구의 중심부에 있는 매달린 정원을 지지하는 거꾸로 아치형 천장과 만사드 지붕으로 구성되어 있습니다. 건물 상단에는 6개의 루카룬이 있으며 전체 구조는 셔터가 있는 콘크리트로 만들어져 있습니다.
