Furniture Pavilion S Showroom by Rooi Design and Research


비즈니스가 급속히 발전하는 오늘날의 세계에서는 많은 전시자가 임시 쇼룸을 건설하고 있지만, 전시회가 끝나면 쇼룸의 건설 폐기물과 재료가 적절하게 세척되고 재활용되지 않으며 많은 불 필요한 폐기물과 오염이 발생했습니다. 배출가스 문제도 마찬가지로 거의 무시되어 온 것 같다.

이에 대응하여 2019년 상하이 국제 가구 박람회에서 Rooi Design and Research는 가구 전시자를 위해 특별히 설계된 야외 독립 파빌리온을 개발했습니다. 이를 통해 완전히 새로운 포괄적이고 지속 가능한 설계 솔루션을 발표할 수 있었습니다. 첫째, 건물의 주요 구성 재료의 경우 건축가는 가구 제조에서 가장 친숙한 재료 중 하나 인 합판을 사용했습니다.




In today’s world of rapid business development, many exhibitors construct temporary showrooms, but after the exhibition, the showroom’s construction waste and materials cannot be cleaned properly and recycled, which causes a lot of unnecessary waste and pollution. The issue of emissions has also appeared to have been largely ignored as well.

In response to this, at the Shanghai International Furniture Fair 2019, Rooi Design and Research has developed an outdoor independent pavilion specially designed for a furniture exhibitor. This has allowed to unveil a brand new comprehensive and sustainable design solution. First, in regard to the primary construction materials for the building, the architect used plywood, which is one of the most familiar materials in furniture manufacturing.
